Ms. Sasaki is a seasoned trial attorney and entertainment industry veteran. Her practice has included the successful resolution of hundreds of cases. Clients seek her out because she is compassionate, direct, fast moving and effective. Ms. Sasaki is able to strip disputes down to essentials and possesses a commercial, practical, win-win approach to business litigation and arbitration. She is able to untangle difficult thorny issues, converting them to clear solvable problems.

For the past eight years, Ms. Sasaki has been a Partner at Coleman & Horowitt, LLP’s Los Angeles office. In that role, she brings a 360-degree perspective on managing the business, including harnessing firm financials, creating agile teams, and adeptly negotiating complex relationships. As an experienced litigator and negotiator, she routinely handles disputes involving intellectual property, contracts, partnerships, trademark, professional liability, employment law, and motion picture distribution. In one instance, an individual settlement exceeded over $400M in corporate assets.

Before joining Coleman & Horowitt, she was a Managing Partner at Simke, Chodos & Sasaki, LLP. Ms. Sasaki also served as Managing Partner at Sasaki & Brown, LLP, a firm she co-founded as the first all-woman trial boutique in Los Angeles. As a young attorney, she gained valuable experience handling complex litigation at the national firm, Proskauer Rose, LLP.

Ms. Sasaki’s candor coupled with her demonstrated ability to accurately assess cost/benefit tradeoffs has delivered results time and time again. Moreover, as an Asian American woman, she brings a diversity of viewpoint. Her understanding of people dynamics serves her well. As a certified neutral arbitrator for the Independent Film and Television Alliance, she engages both sides, moving them toward a collaborative business-based settlement. Ms. Sasaki has also been involved in multiple negotiations with the Directors Guild of America and the Writers Guild of America.
